Helen Sanders CatPAWS Success: Wyatt

Marianne says: Wyatt was found living in a very bad backyard situation, sharing a filthy living space with over 35 cats and kittens. Helen Sanders CatPAWS was asked to help with trapping, neutering, spaying, and releasing the feral cats that were there. Wyatt was one of a handful of kittens that we found who were young enough to be socialized, though he was on the verge of death. We took them all in and did what we had to do to save their lives. We rescued and kept the kittens that we could socialize, and we trapped, fixed and released the other cats from the backyard. They are all back to full health and I'm happy to report that Wyatt has since been adopted.

The woman who contacted us to help her is continuing to feed the cats that have been released. None of the cats we rescued were hers, they were coming from somewhere across the alley from and she was feeding them. She is happy that she now has a 'contained' colony where the cats will be able to live out their lives without the worries of any pregnancies. Helen Sanders CatPAWS has a wonderful TNR program and we were proud to have helped.

so wonderful that they were able to help out and that this lil sweetie was saved, brought back to good health and has a new home. You can see the sadness and hopefullness in his lil eyes. Precious.

This is a heart-wrenching picture. Poor little Wyatt, most have been in a lot of pain and discomfort. I am so utterly happy he could be saved.

I hope that the "fur-ever" home is truly a forever home of love for little Wyatt! He deserves it.

All kitties deserve a loving home. I just wish that people would open their hearts (and get their kitties fixed)!

God bless you for rescuing all of them and God bless that woman for continuing to feed these poor homeless catties. I have fostered kittens that looked like this when I received them and it is a wonderful feeling when they pull through although that is not always the case and my heart breaks whenever we loose one. Still fostering is the happiest thing I do with my life. Thank you for what you do for these cats.

Poor little Wyatt here. Marianne, your group was so wonderful to come in and TNR some of the ferals and allow them to live in better circumstances. I am so glad that Wyatt was adopted to a good home and became such a healthy, handsome cattie.

What a sad story but good to hear it has a happy ending. If only we could clone you and send you where there is a need! I give thanks for everyone who tries to help in situations like this. Wyatt is very cute.

So glad Wyatt is happy now. Although I must say, I like this newsletter because it's called "Good" Morning Kitten, and regardless that he improved and was adopted, seeing this first photo only made me feel sad.
