Karen says: Meet the four members of the Abandoned Kitty League (AKL): Samson (buff colored), Simba (tortoiseshell tiger tabby), Tabitha (ginger tabby), and Moo-Moo Kitty (black and white). They are four siblings I volunteered to raise for adoption after a coworker found them abandoned at about eight days old.

Samson was Daddy’s boy. He loved to cuddle with my husband and had the loudest purr. Simba was a very loving kitty and the most adventuresome of them all. Tabitha was the sweetest baby you could ask for. Remember Sally's cat in the Peanuts comics, the one draped over her arm? It must have been a relative of Tabitha's; she would lie her back in my arms and let me stroke her chin and kiss her belly as she fell asleep. Moo-Moo Kitty was so soft and sweet -- and she still is. She is now my Princess Moo-Moo Kitty and will stay with me forever. Samson went to live with my friend Cynthia, and together they recently welcomed Socks and his family as houseguests. With the help of Paws Animal Rescue, Simba and Tabitha were also adopted by families who love them.

I am glad to have been able to help another living thing find love and happiness. My children also treat animals and people with love and kindness (I guess leading by example works...<>). My youngest wants to be a vet when he grows up.

What irresistible little furbabies! Thank you for being such a great foster family to these adorable kittehs. And how appropriate that your youngest (2-legged) child wants to be a vet - he's already learning a lot about kindness and care.
Is Tabitha as much of a goofball as her photo? Hilarious!

That was Freida's cat in the peanuts comic strip, but I get the picture:) The kitties are precious and your pix are very good. My daughter used to have Amber, a ginger cat who was like Freida'a cat, she just lay there in whatever position you put her in and my daughter used to put her in the hood of her sweatshirt, pull up the strings so only Amber's head and her little paws stuck out and she would stay there for hours, purring and going wherever my daughter went. She would also lay in the pocket of the sweatshirt, her head sticking out one end and her tail sticking out the other. I miss that cat!

So hard to pick a favourite shot! They are all cute, but I love the shots of them all together. I have a cat called Misty (Misty Moo) who sounds a lot like Moo-Moo Kitty. My cat Shelby has similar markings to hers but he is a tabby and white. Love them all and the descriptions of them and that they all have loving homes.

Finally after 2 days of not being able to get the pics to come up I was able to see them. This pic made me want to see more. All the pics are great! I love this one because you can see their coats so well. Samson and Tabitha have a "ticked" tabby coat. So interesting! Great job of helping them!
