Update: Three Orphan Kittens

emopuppypirate says: You've already met Wolfe, Wesley, and Feivel, three little sweeties who were found in January in a cardboard box. There was a note attached saying their mother had died, along with a plea for someone to take care of them. I foster for the humane society, so they called me, and I bottle-fed and nursed them to health. We decided to keep Feivel and look for homes for Wolfe and Wesley, but not until we got their ringworm problem taken care of. Many readers of TDK asked for an update.

By the third week in March, the kids were all pretty much over their ringworm, their hair had grown back, and they were looking good... and Wesley and Wolfe found forever homes! They had to be neutered first, which didn't happen until the first week of April due to them having colds. Once neutered, Wesley went to his new home. His name is Cubby Bear or "Cubs" now. He got a WONDERFUL family, and they love him to death. Unfortunately Wolfey's adopters backed out on us, so he's still available. :-( If you're interested in giving this wonderful boy a forever home, please contact the Helotes Humane Society in Texas, or fill out an application at the shelter's Web site. Of course I still have Feivel, and he's doing great.

UPDATE 4/21: Wolfe got adopted!! One of my best friends' little sister adopted him. She's super excited about it, and he's the only cat they have, so he's going to be spoiled rotten :)

Wolfie is such a handsome boy. I do hope he finds the loving home he deserves. Good thing those folks backed out - if they weren't ready for a lifetime commitment to this little guy, they didn't deserve him. He needs to be cherished for years and years to come.

What a handsome kitten, Wolfe is. He seems so content here. I am glad that they are cured of their ailments and hope that by this time, Wolfe has found a loving family to take him in. They would be the lucky recipients for sure.
