Shayna says: I got Gus when he was nine weeks old and only weighed two and a half pounds. We found him hiding in a hole in a basement stairway with one of his brother or sisters (who we couldn't catch). He was one of four new kittens in a local cat colony. At first he was so scared of people, but he quickly warmed up into the outgoing one-year-old Gus he is today.

What a cutie! It just goes to show that cats are very adaptable - even the most frightened kitty can blossom into a self-assured happy cat with enough time and attention. Congratulations on Gus' transformation from feral to furbaby!

Extra toes and just about as huge a heart stealer as I have ever seen (including my own). What a face; that pink nose; what a boy. The toes are wonderful - are you in New England - that's where most of those toes appear. Love him!!!
