JSClark12 says: Today marks the 4th birthday of my wonderful baby, Fudge Pudge. This picture is her as a kitten, she was about 6 weeks old. She is an amazing cat with a wonderful personality. She is very lovable and has a "Harley Davidson" type purr. Her beginning into this world was a rough journey. She was the last kitten born in the litter and she came out not breathing. I provided her CPR and gave her back to her mother. And, ever since then it has been history. She likes to turn on/off light switches. And, drink out of straws :)

Thank you all for the sweet words :) I have no idea how she manages to drink out of straws. Any time I try to catch her with the camera, she runs away.

Heavens, Fudge Pudge lived up to her name! If it isn't too late, consider putting her on a little diet. It must be hard to turn her down when she wants treats after her scary beginning, but overweight ultimately led to my cat Nat's death. Nothing too drastic--just pay attention to her intake and feed only at set times. This is the voice of sad experience.

Thank you NattheCat. I have been watching her food intake quite carefully. She has this little fat pouch that she got shortly after she was spayed. I don't know if it is a result of the surgery or if she is just gaining weight. I read somewhere that they get a little saggy pouch like hers if they did not have babies or nurse. If this is the case, I have one other cat who has the same pouch.

Thanks for the reminder, Nat. Watch the diet and give them several minutes daily of chasing a toy. We want our furbabies to live long and prospurrrr. <grin>
