He is lucky to have survived but is needing surgery; he has a broken kitty wrist and broken jaw and teeth. I'm having a sale in my etsy shop horncatcreations.etsy.com to help pay for the vet bills. In this photo, he is enjoying his first full meal after anaesthetic. Nom nom nom! He was super hungry!

Thank Goodness he is mending and you have the means to get him veterinary care!
Please keep him off the balcony, even with 8 more lives there is no guarantee he will survive another attempt at exploration beyond his territory!

I've never lived in an apartment with a cat, but I would imagine that it must be awfully hard to keep a kitty away from a balcony!! But please, please try; your little sweetie will thank you in the end!!!

Hope Batman recovers soon !
I have closed off the balcony with a very high wire netting bending inwards(the sort one uses for gardens), so that they can't fly.They happily play on the balcony, but can't go overboard. It was certainly worth the investment.

Wow everyone I had no idea there could be comments on Batman's photos! Apologies!! I'm touched by all the comments and cute memes. Batman is doing well (currently enjoying 5 minutes sans cone). I will try to post new photos soon (I can't seem to post photos from my phone).
