Kotrl says: Tibi had her second litter and this time there were eight kittens. Several were never named and several looked very similar to the first batch. They were: Milly (very similar to her sister Milly-Molly-Mandy), Gabe (distinctive longhaired tabby with some ginger on her head), Frederick (all black), Ziggy (a tabby with a white patch on his head), an unnamed black-and-white kitten, and three unnamed tabbies. They are all in new homes except for Gabe and Frederick who are still with us. Gabe (pronounced Gah-Bee) is very sociable and gentle and she loves to curl up under the duvet with you at night or to sit on your lap.

That's it, I can't come here anymore, the video was it for me, to many cute kitties, and I'm not allowed anymore. I'm being crule to my self....see ya tomorrow lol

I really enjoyed the kitty action video; it is beyond cute.
Shaungrl -
Well, I'm going to play with fire with my comments. While the kittens are adorable, this is Tibi's *second* litter. I hope there is not a third and that she is, now, comfortably retired and SPAYED. There are enough cute kittens in the shelters and rescue groups.

Signed someone who has worked in a shelter and watched *cute* kittens, puppies, dogs and cats be PTS and then burned to ash. Spay and neuter your Furkids. (soapbox now stowed away)

OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that viDeo is the CuTTESTTTT!!!!

The pictures are beautiful. Yet, not knowing fully about your site & then seeing: Shaungrl's comment..."second litter" now I have to wonder...seeing that I do volunteer at an animal shelter..the pictures are nice..yet I just dont know what to totally think now. Think about a shelter & all the abandon kittens, cats, puppys, and dogs that are sad and in desperate need of a forever home... I know first hand I just adopted a beautiful 4 yr. old cat, this past Sunday...... T H I N K A B O U T I T !

Gorgeous kittens!!!!!!!!!!

Well, FWIW these kittens were with a family in England. I'm not sure but... do they have the same pet overpopulation in the U.K. as they do in the U.S.? I know in Canada they don't. I never hear about puppy mills or kitten mills in the U.K. I somehow think it's less of a problem (though I don't know that for sure). Anyway, the original photographer also seems to be a teenaged boy so he was probably just proudly showing off his beautiful kittens without a thought about it -- and in that spirit I gratefully accept the offer of these AMAZING KITTEN PHOTOS AND VIDEO!!!!! GORGEOUS FUNNY SWEET BEAUTIFUL !!! And the video is rockin' too.

Oh, also wanted to say that shelter workers and animal rescuers are angels on earth! I am grateful for all your heart-filled and heartbreaking work that you do!

I absolutely agree with Shaungrl... I took in a stray and IMMEDIATELY got her spayed... 17 years later, she's still has her girlish looks (the vet's words...not mine). But these kittens are GRRRRRRR-EAT!!!!

They are so cute!

I look at this site every single day and love how you're now posting a series of photos for us to enjoy. Thanks so much! This is the best stress-buster I can think of. These are absolutely beautiful kittens.

I'm conflicted, too, about all these kitties coming into the world. People please be responsible, so that the kitty supply doesn't outstrip the willing people supply!
Amber -
They're so beautiful!

Yesss. Let's even hope that da kittins all got "pediatric spaying". I crack up when I hear that term, but it IS veddy, veddy necessary.

Um, the calico/tabby/tortie mix looks like it will be a furball, and that, too, cracks me up. Tee-hee.

EveryBody!!! dont miss the viDeo. PLAY THE vidEO!!!!!!! ITS the CUTTEST!!

These are lovely kittens--but I agree with the writer about the horrendous overpopulation of cats/kittens and dogs/puppies in the USA. Perhaps in England (as one writer intimated is the location of these photos) there is not the same problem--although hard to believe. Please, though, consider spaying of the mother and spaying/neutering of the kittens at the appropriate age. I work with animal rescue groups, both dogs and cats, and one of the worst things is having to walk down the aisles of either cat or dog death row, which is what I call the kennels at the public animal shelters, and realize that at least 50% of the dogs won't make it out and at least 75% of the cats won't--that is so disturbing and, all the more so, knowing that by spaying or neutering the problem could be reduced (I do not envy the workers the jobs they have to do).

Wow, Tibi is busy!!!
Kotrl -
Tibi has since been neutered. We didn't consider it at first because where we live is somewhat isolated and didn't expect any other cats to stray this far.

I'm not aware of any 'pet overpopulation' problem here in the UK. When we were looking for Tibi we called the shelter and were put on a waiting list since they're in short supply here. We adopted her as a kitten from some people in the local village.

Thank you Kotrl for the update. Tibi's kittens were BEYOOOTIFULLL!!!!!!!!!! Also LOVE your VIDEO !!!

quite frankly, sometimes it's not possible to spay & neuter right away... my Luna had a few litters simply because I couldn't afford the surgery. And it is healthy for a cat to have at least one litter. As long as there's someone to adopt. The problem here in the grand old USA is ppl get animals because they think, "oh they're cute" and dont actually want to take care of them, so cats get dumped all the time. So yeah, when an unfixed cat is dumped where there's no human to help with the adopting process, of course theres going to be a population issue. Americans are irresponsible and get animals they shouldn't. That's the real problem. None of Lunas kittens ended up in the shelter. I kept them until we found them homes. It's ppl being selfish and stupid that are causing this to happen. I'm sure that Tibi was a wonderful mother and probably is a happier cat because of it. I've had 2 females. One that was spayed as a baby and one that wasn't. Luna's a much more content cat since having kittens.

If you can't afford the spay/neuter surgery, keep your cat INSIDE! Simple as that. Make the indoors entertaining & spend lots of time w/your cat to keep him/her happy while "imprisoned". That's all there is to it. If you can't keep your cat inside, perhaps you oughtn't have a cat at all. Letting a cat get pregnant b/c of financial constraints is as irresponsible as abandoning one. And according to my veterinary handbook, "A cat does not need to have a litter to 'feel fulfilled' or to 'settle down' emotionallly or behaviorally...By spaying your female before her first heat, you reduce her chances of developing mammary cancer later in life, eliminate the chance of uterine infections or cancers, and won't have stray tom cats coming around your house yowling & spraying urine." (Cat Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook, 3rd Edition, 2008: 404).

Bully for you that you didn't put any of Luna's kittens in shelters, but how many shelter kittens/cats that deserved to be adopted & loved are now dead b/c the people adopted your kittens instead? Everything in this world has consequences that are much more far-reaching than you think.

Tirade is now finished.

They are gorgeous kittens! And while I understand that many people are irresponsible about getting their cats fixed, it is quite annoying when the first reaction to a litter of kittens is to accuse the owner of not spaying or neutering. You don't know the situation. They may have already found homes for all of them, or want to keep them for themselves, and they aren't responsible for the overpopulation (which it appears isn't a problem in this case) problem if they can find homes for their kitties.
