Denise says: BG showed up on my front porch in December trying to scrounge food from my outside cat of the time. I hadn't intended on bringing him in, but we got snow and with his tiny size and coloring he showed up too much against the white snow for the hawks that nest a few houses down. He's been inside since and is scared of the outside now. Ironically I was fresh out of cat names and just called him BG (Baby Girl). A trip to the vet showed me I was wrong, but he knew BG by that time, so I figured it could stand for Big Guy. Ironically he's the smallest cat I've ever had! When he arrived, he joined my family of six cats and four bunnies. Ebony was the only one that would put up with his play. Killer swatted him, Ranger ran from him, Gypsy hissed and ran as did Muffin, Sherlock tried to kill him, and Merlin just ignored him.
BG was a rambunctious, full of himself kitten. As he's matured he's quieter, loving, but not a lap cat. He gets along with all the other cats now, though he ignores the dog. He wanted desperately to be friends with my late giant bunny Destiny though she wasn't interested. He's afraid of the other bunnies as are all the other cats except Smudge. He plays mostly with Smudge who is something like eight months younger but now bigger than little BG (the other cats are much older and while they play its not as much as he wants). He loves those puff balls that I don't know the real name of and any kind of string and or ribbon. He does love to snuggle in the cat tree with just about anyone… though Merlin is so large no one really fits with him lol… not even BG with his tiny size.
