Philippe says: This cat family lived in our backyard and under the house. The mother, whom we called Little Kitty, and her two kittens had been hanging around for months. We fed them, but we weren't able to touch any of them. Then a few months later two more kittens were born. That did it. We were determined to trap them and have them fixed, which we finally did. Little Kitty and the older kittens were too feral to socialize so we released them back into the yard, where they thrived for a while before eventually moving on. The two little ones we kept inside with us and now they are family pets!

Nice work, #Phillippe! Converting those feral kitties to house pets is awesome. Get them when they're young.

I feed feral kitties in my yard. It started with 1 mama who is way to smart to catch or tame. It is a hard life but around here if you put out a wild trap you are more likely to catch raccoons, possums, armadillos or skunks than cats. I have to take in the food at night because of that. I see kittens come and go and I cry over it but I am also disabled so it is hard. I am soo happy that you caught the two little ones and took them in. Thank you from the bottom of my heart....
