Brooke says: Gaea is a cat the rescue group I work with received about four months ago. She came to us very pregnant from a man who is currently in prison. Gaea gave birth to six kittens around the end of April making her babies about five weeks old now. One solid-white kitten died at birth. Gaea's five remaining babies are girls Athena and Aphrodite, and boys Artemis, Apollo, and Ares. They are so little yet full of fluffy personality. A little chorus of meows can be heard whenever a human is in their sight, and they absolutely love napping in laps. Gaea and the babies will be available for adoption in Alaska around the end of June through Mat Valley Kitties Rescue Group.

I know who Artemis was named after! The one on Wild Wild West! Too funny! Beautiful babies, I know they'll be adopted quickly. :) Gaea looks sweet too.

To second the previous poster- Artemis is female, the twin of Apollo. The babies and mama are beautiful though!

On SailorMoon, Artemis is male - but a white cat. Considering Aphrodite is the cutest, I guess the others can warrant more attention. :)

Strange sarcastic commentaries above. These kitties are love bugs and not to blame for their origins. They must have posted before I joined Daily Kitten, because I wouldn't have cared to stick around to read such nonsense and vituperation. Brooke G--Keep on keeping on and just ignore the slings and arrows. You are a good soul. And the kitties are superb.
