Mavis says: Diego was a wild stray at my mother's home in Michigan. He was part of three litters that made a home in my mom's garage. Now he's my baby. His fur is more peach-colored than orange.

My mom went to great lengths to catch and spay as many of these wild mother cats as possible. She then released them back into the wild. She also found homes for a few and kept over a dozen of the kittens herself! Little angels.
