lovinkat says: Juliette is my new six-week-old foster baby. She's faster than the speed of lightning so I haven't gotten a lot of good photos of her yet that aren't a total blur! She has a great story.

My friend Kim grabbed a stray dog out of the middle of an intersection earlier this month. She took him home to get a carrier so she could drop by the Petco for a bath and a checkup. On her way to the car, a tiny mewing kitten crawled out of the wheel well of a truck parked nearby. So she grabbed the kitten and took her to Petco too. Once all the soot and grease was washed off, Kim could see that she was a tuxedo girl with little white tennis socks! The Petco staff thought she looked like a Juliette so that's what we're calling her. She's heading to her permanent home in July but in the meantime is living at my house and running the whole show.

Thanks for your kind words! Juliette is an absolute delight. Watching her tiny body do laps around my living room is better than TV!

I just heard this morning that there's some doubt that her new family will be able to take her. Boo.

So, if any of you know of a potential cat mommy / daddy for Juliette in the Los Angeles area, I'd love to hear about it.
